Introduction to Civic Thinking

In this unit, students will explore the broader topic of what civics is, regardless of country. Concepts such as citizenship, civic action, and citizen responsibilities.

What Does Civic Thinking Look Like? Civic thinking means noticing problems in a community, thinking carefully about possible solutions, and taking responsible action to help others. In this lesson, you will read about three people who responded to community problems in different ways. You will identify the problem, action, motivation, and impact in each example. →
