Teacher Help — Getting Started

ScholarForge
ScholarForge helps teachers share classroom-ready resources and collaborate on units that work.
Built by educators. Designed for teachers who want practical, classroom-ready resources without student accounts or student data collection.

Getting Started (Teachers)

Respect pedagogy. Reduce tech friction. Start with what you need today.
Welcome
The Teacher Area is your home base on ScholarForge. Everything here is built to support real classroom work: planning units, sharing lessons, collecting good resources, and running assessments—without unnecessary complexity.
You don’t need to use everything. Start small and grow into more features over time.
🧩 Unit Planner (Collaboration)
Use this when you want to build a unit over time, organize lessons in sequence, and collaborate with other teachers.
  • Best for: unit outlines, lesson sequences, shared planning.
  • Not required: you can still use the site without building units.
📚 Lesson Library
Use this when you need a classroom-ready lesson. Browse and download lessons other teachers have uploaded. If enabled for your account, you can upload your own as well.
  • Best for: ready-to-use PDFs/activities, quick classroom materials.
  • Tip: start with keyword search, then narrow by subject/grade.
🔗 Instructional Resources
Share and browse links, articles, videos, and instructional materials teachers actually use. Think of it as a shared “best of the internet” board for teaching.
  • Best for: articles, videos, tools, and ideas worth saving.
  • Quick win: post one resource you’d recommend to a colleague.
📝 QuizForge
ScholarForge no longer includes built-in quiz tools. Use QuizForge for quiz creation, test conversion, printable tests, question banks, online assignments, and analytics.
  • Create: build or import quizzes in QuizForge.
  • Print: generate printable tests and answer sheets.
  • Analyze: use QuizForge’s assignment and results tools when needed.
☕ Teachers’ Lounge
A place to unwind: morale boosts, funny finds, and “you’re not alone” posts. This space is intentionally lighter—no lesson plans required.
Where should I start?
If you’re unsure, use this simple rule:
  • Planning a unit? → Unit Planner
  • Need a lesson right now? → Lesson Library
  • Collecting good teaching links/tools? → Instructional Resources
  • Assessments and grades? → Quizzes & Sessions
  • Need a breather? → Teachers’ Lounge
You don’t need to use everything at once. Use what helps. Ignore what doesn’t.
If I make a mistake…
You won’t break anything by clicking around. Most things can be edited later. If something looks wrong, take a breath—then try refreshing the page or returning to the Teacher Area.
If something is truly broken, use “Report a bug” in the site footer—it includes helpful page info automatically.
